Across Cultures

Some of our ethnic differences are visible - those aspects we can see, hear, taste, touch and smell. Other sides are hidden, part of the inner rules we learn as we grow. ‘Across Cultures’ will spark conversations about the visible (food, language, festivals) as well as the invisible (attitudes, values and beliefs).

It’s often the invisible parts of cultural differences that trip us up and some of these may surprise you. Did you know that waiting in line varies between cultures? Should you always tell the truth, or is it more important to save face?

Across Cultures’ will help you get to know your own culture as well as that of your work colleagues, classmates, friends and guests.
